Kalk Bay locals Sandy Mitchell and Tessa Gawith have combined skills to create a range of pottery for children. Sandy, who is an Illustrator, has produced  transfers of quirky little figures fired onto Tessa's hand thrown ceramics.

Tessa's Muizenberg studio, The Pot Spot, is well known locally and Sandy's portfolio includes the Gardening book, "Wild Iris Herbal Handbook' as well as the Label for the Olympia Block Cabernet from the Kalk Bay Vineyard, amongst others.
